This full-credit course uses the textbook, Auto Fundamentals, (© 2005). The text covers design, construction, and operation of automotive systems. Auto systems are taught by first explaining the principle of each and then describing the parts that make them up. Systems taught in the book include engine, electrical, ignition, fuel injection, emission, computer, transmission, suspension, and brake. After completing the course students will have a good understanding of automotive technology and how each automotive system functions. (One credit, grade 11 or above)
